Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

Effective risk management is critical to the running of any business, but often the area that is least understood, least resourced and the greatest exposure.

This course provides basic risk management training for all staff and management by using simple examples and activities to ensure that all participants who complete the course understand how to conduct a risk assessment, find the most appropriate controls and implement and manage those controls.

Time Management

It is estimated that nearly 50% of our workday is wasted through interruptions and poor time management.

This course gives participants the knowledge and skills to more effectively plan their time, schedule their activities and achieve their goals. The course includes a self-assessment for participants to test their effectiveness in all areas of time management.

Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace

Penalties for bullying can be up to $600,000 and 5 years in jail for employers and up to $300,000 and five years in jail for employees. One of the most efficient and effective ways to reduce the risk of bullying in the workplace is to provide effective training for management and staff.

This course looks at diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The course shows the benefits and challenges of dealing with diversity in the workplace and includes information on bullying, harassment and discrimination under Australian law. The course includes information on steps to take if you witness bullying, are a victim of bullying or are accused of bullying in the workplace.

In Australia, the cost of fatigue in the workplace is estimated to be $3 billion annually, up to 30% of workplace accidents are directly related to fatigue and you are four times more likely to be killed driving between the hours of 10pm and dawn.

Fatigue has such a significant effect on our safety and productivity but so many people think it is just something that comes with modern life.

This course looks at the impact of fatigue, how the sleep cycle works and practical steps that you can take to minimise the effects of fatigue on your health, well-being and performance.
